HailByDate is a small independent reference site. There is no form here and no mailing list — email reaches a human.

What we can help with
- Corrections. Include the county, the state and the date of the report. If the mistake is in the NOAA source record we will say so and point you to NOAA’s correction route.
- Coverage requests. Tell us which state you want next and we will move it up the queue.
- Data questions. How a figure on a page was derived, or what a field means. See about the data first — most answers are there.
- Reuse. The underlying storm reports are U.S. public domain and yours to use; a link back to the county page is appreciated but not required.
What we cannot help with
We cannot provide certified or official storm records, write letters for insurance claims or legal proceedings, assess damage to a specific property, or give a forecast. For an official record, go to NOAA NCEI Storm Events. For forecasts and warnings, go to weather.gov.
Response time
Usually a few days. Corrections are applied on the next data rebuild.
